Two doctors from a private hospital in Gorakhpur showed interest in it. He wrote a letter to Bharat Biotech, Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) and Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). Bharat Biotech has given its nod. A vaccine to reach Gorakhpur in three to four days. The first phase of the trawl will begin on 7th July. Physician Dr Ajit Pratap Singh and Gynaecologist Dr Sona Ghosh will be under the supervision of ICMR and RMRC.
Director of ICMR, Dr Balram Bhargava wrote a letter to the doctors selected for the trawl. He instructed them to expedite the trawl. He has directed that by 15th August, the trial should be completed and the results should be given to ICMR. Preparations are also underway to launch the vaccine on 15th August after the results are better. They have asked them to complete the human testing process of the vaccine through a fast track method. This method is very simple and the results are accurate. It does not threaten the people at all. Based on the same trawl report, it is being prepared to be launched by 15th August.
Dr Ajit Pratap Singh, the principal researcher said that a letter has been received from ICMR today itself. ICMR will determine the number of samples for this trawl. This trawl will be on healthy persons. The health of the people involved in the trawl will be monitored. Dr Rajnikant, director RMRC and media cell in-charge ICMR said that ICMR has prepared a strain of the virus and given it to Bharat Biotech to make the vaccine. The doctors for vaccine trawl have been selected by Bharat Biotech. Doctors from the private hospital in Gorakhpur are also involved in the trawl. The ICMR will monitor this trawl. The ICMR will also review the results of the trawl.
